After doing my own research and finding outrageous obstacles and incredible time consuming methods of gathering research, along with continued misinformation without original research, I decided to make all my research gathered on the Woodards and Woodwards and other relatives available to my relatives for reproduction cost. I must emphasize that I am continuing to gather genealogy research from my distant cousins. It costs me time and money to do the original research which includes traveling to towns all over New England and checking the original records. So, if you would like the truth about your families history and are related to me, please invest a little bit of money in purchasing my books and respect my countless hours of research and then compiling the information. For more information on this subject read my article published in the Nashua Telegraph in March, 2003.  I have collected genealogy records of Woodards for over 15 years. Records have been compiled from original records such as cemetery, church, vital, land, and military records and cross checked for accuracy where ever available. Civil records have been consulted and some old newpapers have provided records. Census records have been consulted and many corrected errors of town histories have been fixed. Errors have been found in some records and corrected. These records are obscure and hard to find places that took me many thousands of hours of time finding checking and compiling. I spend lots of time and money fixing the family history due to incredible errors in the Woodard / Woodward lines from past compilations. Let's not perpetuate the errors! Continual additions and corrections are being made. And I apologize for any errors I perpetuate and forgive those honored souls who compiled records before us to give us these valuable leads to correct them.

Our Woodard family name has been changed at times to Woodward, Wodert, and Wodard. Our ancestors were Vikings that united with Normandy and went to war with England conquering and settling there, then they arrived in Boston, MA

 in the early 1600's. There are  numerous revoluntionary soldiers among our ancestors including a number of Captains. We have a solid foundation in New England with many physicians, lawyers and other prominent family members such as President John Adams, President John Quincy Adams, President Ulysses S. Grant, President Millard Fillmore, President Stephen Grover Cleveland, President Rutherford Birchard Hayes, Govenor Samuel Huntington, Senator Hilary Clinton, Governor Sarah Palin, Dr. Ashabel Woodward, and one of my great grandfather's - Captain Amos Woodard of Pittsford, VT. Captain John Woodard of Hanover, NH, Captain Daniel Woodard of Lyndeborough, NH; Captain Joseph Woodard and Captain John Woodward of Boston who led the committee that refused taxation of tea without representation. One great grandfather was Chief Madockawando grand Sachem of the Abernaki Nation in Acadia. Professional baseball players from New Hampshire Joe Lefebvre and Leon Chagnon and famous popular singers Madonna, Alanis Morissette, Bing Crosby, and Celine Dion. Actors and Actress Clint Eastwood, Christopher Reeves, Shirley Temple, Jennifer Aniston and Angela Jolie. That's right Brad Pitt left one of our cousins and married another cousin. Artists and writers such Norman Rockwell and Ernest Hemingway.  

   From there our ancestors and relatives moved throughout New England such as Connecticut, New York, New Hampshire, and Vermont and north to Province of Quebec, Canada. A few of our ancestors moving south to South Carolina and Louisiana. Others went westward to Michigan, Wisconsin, California, New Mexico, Illinois, and Utah.

I have also done extensive work on my maternal family lines including an extensive collection of many descendants of maternal grandparents including Robert Caron, Germain Lefevre/Lefebvre, Pierre Lefebvre dit Descoteaux, Pierre Chagnon dit LaRose, Nicolas Marsolet, Pierre Miville, Pierre Hudon-Bealieu, and Leonardi Riccardi/Riccardo, and Mathias Abel and others. Many pictures are available in the books. 

I do charge for my books to cover the cost of publishing them which includes color photos, 20 lb.bonded water marked paper for historical duration, binding, printing and postage costs. However, the cost is minimal for the work etc. involved.
